I played it on a Mac with PowerPC arch, but I don't known if the game run on Intel arch, maybe the GOG team can make a port?

Oh! I need play diablo on Mac
Unfortunately the original PowerPC version stopped working in Mac OS 10.5. The GoG version does not work well in Wine so that isn't really an option either. devilutionX is working on a port for Mac,

Update:
DevilutionX is now also available for macOS

Hi Anders_Jenbo I didn't know about devilutionX, maybe I can contribute with the port :D I'll check the project, Thanks!

A native macOS version would be really sweet! In the meantime, I set up a Windows VM to play.
I am also hoping for macOS version.

P.S. I missed this thread initially since I searched the forums for "macOS", not "OS X". Would not be better if we rename the thread?
try devilutionX from github. Also see the "Q: Does it work with Wine?" thread here that also provides this solution.

Hello! You're right, I'll try to contact iwifallen to change the name of the publication, by the way AveFenix05 and I build a 32-bit version of devilutionX in macOS Mojave and it works very well, we build a 64-bit version but some sound and painting functions need be ported. We need to study more about the code because we are not sure of the data structure for the 64-bit port, but for now we can play with a 32-bit compilation.

Could you explain what you did to compile devilutionX as 32bit application on macOS Mojave?
I tried a few times but can't get it to work.
Or maybe you could just update the readme.md on github and open a pull request.
I need this on a Mac period
