I have problem with the GOG version of Diablo Hellfire. After completing first level (killed all the monsters and opened an entire map) I cannot go back to town with a Town Portal spell. The game will crash and gets ERROR message "Unable to open save file". I also tried to go past all the enemies and opened only a part of the map until you can go to next level and then Town Portal spell worked fine and game didn't crashed. It seems like, if you kill all the enemies and open all the map, only then game will crash. I have seen some topics here about the same problem but never seen solution for this problem. Have anyone have a clue how to fix that problem and do anyone have a solution for this? I also posted a pic of that error message.

use devilutionx to play without issues

If the save also has issues in DevilutionX then post it and I can reset the part that is broken in it... using DevilutionX.
