I guess it's just placebo then. I used to play with a mod for Hellfire that fixed a lot of bugs and added some conveniences for multiplayer (such as shared exp for every kill, no need to tag enemies, and showing all players on the minimap), so it's possible that mod altered some enemy stats.
qndel: are you saying zombies' hit chance changed between vanilla and hellfire? if yes, maybe we overwrote the data with hellfire one
sheng_luwei: Why, both in Diablo and Hellfire the zombies have a 10% tohit, there is no difference. In devilutionx, I just found "0A 00 08 02 05" at the respective position, which should translate to 10% tohit, 2-5 dmg. So, the code is obviously identical.
