CharlesGrey: I pretty much expected so. Perhaps it could be a GPU driver issue, or an out of date Windows component, as someone else suggested. At this point, I'm just about to say fuck it, and just play Vanilla Diablo for a while. Might try the mod again once I switch to my new PC, next month or so, so I can try it on Windows 10 or Linux Mint.

Does the mod improve the framerate, or is it always limited to 20-ish FPS?

Lord_Kane: it ups to 60 but it has features that I personally do not like.
Yeah, that seems to be the case for all of the major Diablo mods. Always a mixed bag of good and not-so-good additions.

Does the improved framerate smooth out the cursor movements at least? It's annoying how it looks smooth in the main menu and character selection, and then goes to choppy once you're in-game.

Yeah it does. it makes the game run in 60fps period, you can also bring it down to 20 or any other value.

I instal Belzebub Mod and it works perfectly.
Try to install the Mod in the original folder, not folder version GOG.

Enjoy ! :)
