Several achievements did not trigger for me in DMC1 during an initial attempt. Including the two most tedious and difficulty ones, 'I Read You Like A Book' and 'Combustible!!!' For the first one, despite every entry in the files being filled it wouldn't trigger until much later in my Hard mode playthrough when witnessing one of the Nobody's attacks again. As for the second, I had to replay the final level 3 extra times before that one finally popped (in the middle of the escape sequence for some reason).

I'm really reluctant to start up the other ones for more achievement hunting after that. DMC1's achievements are a fun and mostly casual experience. DMD isn't that tough aside from 2 or 3 of the late game bosses. And the enemy files are just tedious more than anything. So it wasn't a big deal. But I don't want to go through DMC2 and DMC3 multiple times and do their Bloody Palace challenges only to find out those don't trigger either.

I'm uncertain if this is a problem with the HD Collection or if it's a GOG Galaxy issue that affects many games. I haven't done much achievement hunting on the platform, so, I've never paid much attention to if other achievements failed to trigger. But Devil May Cry is one of my favorite series and was hoping to go through them again and get that 100% stamp on my progress page.

I'm not expecting a solution here. I'm more just venting a bit and putting a warning out to let others know just in case they were looking to do some achievement hunting of their own that they should be wary of this one.

I'm also curious if anyone has experienced this issue with DMC4SE as well.
