So this is a little disappointing, to say the least.
I recently replayed DMC4 on Steam and was so annoyed I had to research how to fix it. (Apparently the last update over a year ago broke the game and Capcom did not fix it.) I saw the GOG release and its Preservation Program inclusion, so I was pretty annoyed to get hit with the same failure to launch issue I had to resolve on Steam by downpatching. This just added to my disappointment with needing a mod to fix DMC HD Collection's launcher not including resolutions above 1080p. I am a GOG fan and support the drm free initiative, as I love the preservation and always pick up the DRM free versions of my favourite games. This is disappointing, GOG, and needs a resolution. Surely, before entering into the Preservation Program, everything should be thoroughly checked as currently this fails to meet the standards proposed in the program's description.
