So, would you like to play Deus Ex GOTY at 2560x1440 resolution, 32-bit?? Would you also like to use the New Visions mod which replaces the original crude graphics with spectacular high-resolution texture maps?? I am now playing it at this resolution, on Windows 7 64-bit, with an Nvidia 460 GTX video card.

YES!! You can do so!! However, be warned that you won't be able to pay an arm and a leg for this solution, because it is *absolutely free*!!! (not counting the 1.5GB download for New Visions).

I got magnificent, conclusive solutions to this problem, on the New Visions support forum, and I wanted to make sure everyone here was aware of the solution. Check out this topic:

The video that bobby55 provided a link to, is the magic bullet for this issue!!

I should note that, at this time, I've only been able to get the OpenGL solution working; I'm having some screen-rendering issues with Kentie's DX10 renderer. However, OpenGL plus New Visions is *really* stunning!! It's almost like a whole new game.

If I get the DX10 renderer working (Kentie is actively trying to assist me with this), I will post further data on this form.
I'll add the video to my sticky.
