Deus Ex GOTY bought from GOG.

Windows 8.1

Intel HD4000 and Nvidia 980M

The game sees only my HD4000.
Is there a way to make it see my Nvidia? Using the "Run With Graphics Processor" doesn't change anything and the settings program still sees only the HD4000.

I wouldn't mind that much but I notice a relative low frame rate or refresh rate and playing the training part of the game when I reach the corridor with the water, the game crawls to single digit framerate and becomes unplayable.

FLX83: Disable the HD4000 in the BIOS?
Thanks for your reply,.

I can't.
I fixed this problem with going to graphics settings and changing rendering to opengl.
Unfortunately more problems arose with gameplay issues. For example in the very first mission I died and the game started me again at the pier, with all the weapons and items I had collected though I couldn't use them, the dialogue options not working properly. I don't know what is going on but I can't be arsed to deal with this.
