I just bought this game a few hours ago. I followed the instructions for the multiplayer 1.12fm patch, and installed the Deus Ex Human Renovation mod (I should note that this is the first time I am playing Deus Ex). I'm running the game at 1920 x 1080 resolution, and my FOV is incredibly off. I tried editing the .ini files, and the Kertie launcher configuration options for 16:9 resolutions, but my selections don't stick. What should I do?
You can manually change the FOV from inside Deus Ex. Enter the command "FOV X" into the text bar you get from pressing the Chat key (default T, delete the Say command first.) I believe the proper FOV for 16:9 is 85.
That mod automatically changes the FOV to whatever's appropriate, which is why other settings won't stick for you, but maybe something's wrong or there's a bug somewhere.

I'll definitely be taking a look at it, because I'm not sure where this bug could be coming from.

I assume you're playing it in fullscreen mode, correct? Do you have multiple monitors or anything like that? Could you upload a screenshot to someplace like imgur.com? Does running it as administrator help? Really, any information you can give me helps.

I'll download the posted version of my mod and tool around with it a bit to see if I can spot what might be wrong.

EDIT: Okay, I'm looking into it and there's definitely something wrong. Hopefully I'll have it fixed at some point today.

DOUBLE EDIT: I know what the problem is and I'm working on it. Will upload a new version in probably a few hours.

TRIPLE EDIT: Problem solved, new version uploaded. Unfortunately, the FoV doesn't get adjusted until after the main splash screen, but that's a minor annoyance. I'll probably find a workaround for that in the near future.

The chat fix did it. I felt like I was walking around in 2x zoom the whole time. LOL
If you don't update your version of the mod, it'll still mess up on you again, either every time you load the game or every time you travel to a new map; I'm not sure which. I suggest dropping in the new version, save compatibility shouldn't be a problem.
