how did you get involved with deus ex, who showed it to you or where did you buy it from or whatever.

I am DEUS EX.

A friend of mine copied it for me once upon a time, way back around the time it came out. The first time I ever owned it legitimately was when I bought it on Steam during the 2011 Summer Sale.

I got a free copy of it with a sound card that came with a computer we got in 2000. I didn't touch it for a while; it was just the disc in a sleeve, basically, GOTY edition I think.

I bought it from a second hand game bin at a local shop.
I had no idea what it was at the time, but it looked interesting, so I bought it.

I wanted a shooter to test out my new computer. I hadn't heard anything about Deus Ex before it came out, but of all the FPSs Best Buy had that day, it had the most interesting box so I bought it. I was amazed, even though it actually ran less than well on my computer. It used the competing graphics system than the card I had.

My first issue of Game Developer Magazine had Deus Ex as the post mortem. It sounded really cool, so I snagged a copy and fell in love.

Everybody was talking about how it's an RPG classic. Eventually, I got my hands on a bundle with both Deus Ex and IW. Have beaten DX. Still haven't beaten IW, but I don't think it's as bad as people say.
