I've recently got a pretty beefy computer with a fancy 4080 and a Ryzen 7 7800x3D and whatever, but whenever I play this game it seems half the dialogue doesn't play in the intro and even a few lines in the tutorial.

Bob Page's first line in the intro is entirely skipped, but every other line works?

Is the game running too fast? I've tried frame limiting and different renderers and even delaying the audio, but delaying it even to 800 only gives me a few seconds of the line.

There was another thread with a fix to it from 2013, but it didn't work for me.

The weirdest thing about it all is that I tried playing The Revision and it all just works though??? I'm just curious if anyone else is getting this at this point.
