Hi guys :) i am currently trying to modify the user.ini file to activate cheat mode. but when ever i try to save after editing the file, i get an error message of access denied, can anybody tell me why this is happening please

Files in GOG install folders seem to be write protected or something, I always get the same thing when trying to edit Dosbox configuartion files for GOG games. I haven't found a solution yet, but what I usually do is to move or copy the file somewhere else (desktop,another folder,anything), edit it there and move it back or replace it with the updated version.

It can be a bit of a hassle (escpecially when trying out different settings in dosbox), but it should work.

If you have installed the game into the Program Files -folder, the windows UAC prevents you from modifying any of the game files. Try installing the games in some other folder. For example I use D:\games.
