Hi, I've just bought Deus Ex from GOG and have installed it successfully on my Mac using Porting Kit. Game loads fine, but the speed of it is WAY too fast. You run at the speed of light and all speech takes no time at all. I've seen other topics saying there's a fix for PC, but is there a solution for Mac?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Games running on the original Unreal Engine tend to have speedup issues when running over a certain framerate. In the case of Deus Ex, it has issues over 120 fps. I would suggest using the Deus Exe launcher. It has an option to limit the framerate, as well as other useful settings. It might also be wise to use an updated OpenGL renderer, and setting to OpenGL in Deus Exe (the launcher).

However, I have not used a Mac in a long time (Never used Porting Kit, but used Wineskin). As long as you can open the game install folder to copy the files mentioned above, it should be fine. If Deus Exe doesn't launch, try the older 5.3 version of the launcher listed on the page.
