I bought the GOG version of DX to have an easy to install digital version, and the Revision mod was also selectable. So, I Installed both.

Deus Ex works, but I've spend an hour trying to get the GOG Revision mod to work, and it still crashes on launch. Although, every iteration with a different error.

So, please fix or remove it.

My simple advice is to try GMDX instead.

Can you faggots stop coming into Revision threads and pimping GMDX? Seriously. This is coming from a GMDX fan who donated $20 to the GMDX development team. Some people actually want to play Revision, and for what it is, Revision is very cool, so if you don't have a solution to the problem referenced in the post, fuck off.

That'd be nice, but there wasn't even any information to diagnose from. If I had to take a WAG, they've selected an improper video mode for their graphical set, and should try tweaking the settings.
I've noticed that Revision no longer works for me now that GOG has updated their installer version to 1.3.1. I'm wondering if maybe GOG's installer might be to blame, or maybe the Revision 1.3.1 update itself is broken. I'm going to try the Steam version of Revision to see if that works, and if so I'll email GOG and let them know their Revision 1.3.1 installer might have an issue.
The original is a classic and still stands head and shoulders above contemporary titles.

These mods are just punters having a crack at improving it, like someone having a crack at recutting a classic movie. It's a strange notion that doesn't respect the source material or have a strong grasp of what makes the design so robust.
