I'll just keep this short and sweet:

If I enable the "Minimal hud" menu option, all the biomod keybindings (like F1) stop working, the biomod HUD element disappears and the biomod menu cannot be accessed. Is this somehow intended, or have I encountered a bug?

If the biomods keybindings stop working, it sounds like a bug to me. But I haven't played the game enough to give you a definite answer, sorry.
