Many people seem to have a problem with DX:IW crashing on loading (new game / level / save), especially those who use Windows 7 64bit.

In my case it turned out to be related to Logitech software. Solution: open the taskmanager and kill the process called "SetPoint.exe" - no more crashes. Hope it helps.
