Since I already own this game on steam, I was wondering what exactly the bonus items are - specifically the "reference card" and "newspaper handout". Also are the hd wallpaper made by gog or just sourced from deviant art or something? Hell if it's a 1920x1080 wallpaper version of the banner they use on the Deus Ex sale page I'd be keen on buying it just for that, looks sweet. Any chance they could be uploaded as watermarked / scaled down for us to see?

The "newspaper handout" is a PDF copy of an in-game tabloid called Midnight Sun, which was included in print with the original GOTY print run, and on the game disc in later GOTY print runs.. I figure the reference card is just a picture of a keyboard with the mappings pointed out.

You probably already noticed that the soundtrack is another extra, and I can vouch for that alone being worth the price of purchase.

There are two wallpapers, one of Denton gazing upwards (the same they used on the sale page) and one with just a simple Deus Ex logo. Each comes in several sizes, which is really great.

As for the Reference Card, it is just the default controls. Nothing too special there.

The real kicker, as Boct pointed out, is the soundtrack. The title theme alone was worth the price for me. :)
I bought a copy of Deus Ex GOTY via Steam two years ago and I can confirm that the OST is worth $9.99 by itself. If you love Deus Ex and love the soundtrack, do yourself a favor and purchase a copy through GOG.
I already have the soundtrack, love the unatco and enemy within tracks quite a lot, I believe the Unatco track differs slightly from the in game one no?(edit: ah yes it clearly does) Anyway thanks for all the clarification <3 I'll probably grab this when it's on sale.

Indeed. Deus Ex had one of the best soundtracks in any game ever.

It sure had. It's nice that the newest installment to Deus Ex series also tried to keep music quality high. Only DX2 music wasn't that great. I can't remember a single track from DX2 while I can several from 1 & 3 (or should I say 0?).
Funny thing. I'm watching a playthrough of Human Revolution on YouTube and looks like all through that game there are places where selections from the old soundtrack are playing from radios and such. :-D
Tell me why is this SOUNDTRACK for this game having a jumping bit rate? I thought it will be in FLAC. instead it's in in MP3 and the bitrate jumpes like mad..is this some sort of CD RIP ?
Most good MP3 (and many other) encodings have variable bitrate. That's completely normal, and is actually usually better than constant bitrate turns out to be.
Thanks man! it's really better? for real? That would be awesome ^^
