I can't make any in-game saves. When I try to do quick saves (F5) and the game does auto save, I get a message on the screen.
"SAVE ERROR The game could not be saved"
When I do a manual save in the main menu, the game freeze and crashes to the desktop

I downloaded a save from the internet and even after loading such a save, I still can't make a new quick save in the game or a manual save. I can load a save only in the main menu of the game, when in the game I try to load another save, the game crashes to the desktop.
I bought the game in the promotion on GOG in the director's cut version Bulid 2.0.0.0
Solved.
Windows 11 Home caused all the problems. DXHRDC.exe has been blocked by controlled access to the protected folder. Granting access manually has made the game run normally.
