I just installed the game and it's working flawlessly on windows 10, except that the top bar persists as it can see on the image: any idea how to remove it?

I have the same issue, made GOG Support notification. Attached screenshot.

I've recently completed Desperados in its entirety and found no way to disable the title bar whatsoever. All the possible Dxwnd hacks failed.
After several missions I learned not to care at all.

For future reference for anyone with the same problem: use Borderless Gaming.

It works very well.

how do you do that??
It's a program, called "Borderless Gaming"

It makes exclusive fullscreen games run as borderless window and is very easy to use.

It also worked on Drakensang: The Dark Eye since it had the same problem.

the gog version has more bugs than only the top bar, I recommend to play the original cd version updated to v1.1 and if necessary, use this instruction to make it work on newer windows http://brut.me/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=980
