The video isn't available and in general not very helpful. Just post the solution here if you know it.

My solution to all the problems with Desperados (just like with The Settlers IV, by the way) is to use DXGL.

I did that, and now the image has 'shifted' so to speak. Only about a quarter of the normal game is visible, the rest has been displaced undert the border of my screen.

Solutions? :)
