Soon after the game was renamed to Descent 2019 i saw it was listed as releasing tomorrow, had a look around earlier to find out some more info on this release and i cannot find any.
So guess the game is not releasing tomorrow then after all??

Sadly it says Dec. 31 2019.....WHAT A SCAM! Falling into Star Citizen territory

I knew i had read the Dec 31st somewhere but when i made the thread after searching around online for more info i couldn't for the life of me find anything regarding that date.
Turns out i read Dec 31st here on GOG but overlookded the 2019. wtf.
This game seems like its been in Dev now for ever wish they would sort there sh*t out and just get on with delivering it.

i don't see the game on steam but the devs says that for kickstarter will come bei gog steam and so on ...

but if steam don't know the game i don't belive that the gog release will start today

Whet the devs should have done AND WHAT GOG.COM should have dome was to say the the game is:
A) Early Access...(may or may not buy)
B) Alpha build...(may or may not buy. Made that mistake with Wolcen)
C) Demo...download and play and deterine if it is worth my money.

As it stands me and others have bought this and have nothing to show for it!
Now there is another games called "Overload" that is from somedamnedbody. Don't know who,and plays like
Descent.

GOG should have never allowed this to have happend. GOG: I want a refund!! And any of you that only have
a placeholder should denand the same thing.

Overload is made by the same people who brought you Descent 1,2 and 3 and some who worked on Freespace.

Descent Underground (this game you talk about) is not made from the same team.

It doesn't matter. The game says "Descent" in the title. I would think that they contacted the owners of the franchise and
got permission. Regardless. I paid money for "Descent Underground" and have nothing to show for it. I wonder if I can sue anyone?

The got the rights from Interplay. The original makers didn't know.

Anybody who is sick of waiting for this game to release, hell i am sick of waiting to get updates of wtf is even going on.

Not hating or ranting for nought, fired up the 2 year old Alpha build of this just for giggles the other day and its still hell a fun and runs and looks divine on a 2KUW with Gsync, just where is my newer version i paid for???

Anybody who wants to play a modern Descent game today i would urge you to pick up Overload over on Steam, its super awesome though the MP is pretty meh and dead.

They delisted it from steam to get rid of the negative reviews. Hell in one of their podcastsd they blamed the community. I wish i could find the podcast as youtube deleted the playlist i had it in but they blamed everyone under the sun but themselves for their scams flop

The release date was pushed to December 2019 then when December 2019 got here it got pushed back again to December 2020...

Any takers for it to get pushed back again to December 2021 once we get to December 2020? I would almost be
willing to bet there is NO way it could be pulled back up to any sooner considering this is not the first time it was to
be released by a specific date only to be pushed back.

It's not a "running issue'

it's a sponsor issue and them not getting paid and being asked to do things they weren't supposed to be adding. They had to hire lawyers etc. Last I heard was it was being worked out and they restarting finishing the game

It is NOT releasing in 10 days. There is currently no Release Date due to legal issues with the financial backer.
