Hi,

I have issues when vr is activated (--vr=oculusvr with oculus home 1.10.2.x) oculus DK2.
I cannot use any letters, thus I cannot enter my name when prompted (to create player id).
Then since I have french keyboard I need to change key bindings. But it is not possible since entering new letter for action (like Z for accelerate) has no effect.
Spacebar has effect (like action).
When I pilot the keyboard works (with the wrong keys).
Is there a way to bind definitely these keys ? For exemple write the right bindings in a ini file ?
I did not find the right one in Users\myuser\AppData\Local\Descent\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

The problem also is that changing key bindings in normal mode (not in vr) is not saved, thus I need to change it at each launch.

Thanks for your attention.

Have you tried clicking first? The game window may not have received keyboard focus on launch.

There are many identified issues with Unreal Engine 4's handling of AZERTY keyboards. Unfortunately, the best answer any dev has gotten out of Epic Games is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. It's honestly very frustrating, as it's something I'd personally like to address.

As for which INI file that's found in, it's Input.ini in that folder, but it'll be empty because the game is running with default bindings.

This should not be happening, unless you're only rebinding differences between QWERTY and AZERTY, in which case, that's one of the issues (I'd say the main one) mentioned above, where those differences don't stick correctly.
