Does this version also have an auto map feature? If so how does it work - more like the one in Descent 1&2, which works beautifully (grid-like), or more like the one in Descent 3, which I absolutely hate (an absolute pain). It actually is one of the reasons why I hardly played Part 3 while I still worship Part 1.

most of us are still bumping into the walls so a map may not get looked at much lol

Any estimate with the map will start to show up. I get lost too often and seem to run in circles without it.
And I fully agree that the D1 map is the way to go.
