Hey guys,
When I installed D2, I chose to install the Redbook audio option as well. Unfortunately, I forgot that I prefer the original, more atmospheric MIDI soundtrack. When I go to the options menu and try to un-check the 'use Redbook CD audio' box, it won't un-check. Messing with the volume doesn't change it either.
Do I have to re-install the whole game in order to turn it off?

If your using win7 or vista try running the game as administrator. To set it to always start as admin right click the games shortcut go to properties, then the compatibility tab and tick the run as administrator box.
If it's like the orignal DOS descent, then you can go intot he folder you installed it to and run the INSTALL file and de-select the music.

Chris, follow what I posted above. Or hit F2 in the game and tell it to put the music to none.
