I have no idea how to get the classic cockpit view on d2xl, Surely someone on here knows how to fix this right? ;)

F3 will cycle between all of the available views, several of which are the original Descent views, including the cockpit-style view. The rest of the things can be found in the Cockpit Options, like the weapon list, missile cameras or boxes around enemies.

F1 will also show a bunch of useful commands.
