I have it, or the european version that is only titled Descent. Doesn't it include both the Descent and Descent 2 campaigns? I'm pretty sure I played the Descent 1 levels in it.
I haven't played it much, didn't really like the controls (though I don't own any of the official sony gamepads, just game/gamestop clones), but the cutscenes and music is awesome.

It's on a separate disc that you have to purchase. It's got the Descent II game play albeit all of the levels in Descent Maximum is new and exclusive to PlayStation 1. If you're interested about getting it; Amazon.com or Ebay is your best bet.
