Hello everyone!

I have a problem with the new patch for Deponia: no matter what I do, whenever I clik on the .exe file the only message I get is "Game installation not found, please reinstall".
Problem is, I have already reinstalled the games several times, and I even re-downloaded the whole package.
I am using Windows 7, 64 bit.

Since I incurred in the famous Operator's Platform game breaking bug and the patch should correct it, I wonder if any of you could help me in solving this problem.
This question / problem has been solved by Ingsoc85image
nvm ;-)

Check this thread - http://www.gog.com/forum/deponia_series/the_deponia_series_has_been_updated_to_version_32
^I checked it, but for now none of the solutions there can help me.
Not sure if you did it but I had a similar problem with Goodbye Deponia, it turn out my game version was outdated and I have to un-install, redownload the game and then install it again - after that the patch worked perfectly for me,
He already tried that.

Wish I could help, Enebias, but I haven't tried installing the patch yet. Maybe I'll attempt it this weekend and sees what happens.
Ok, problem solved!

This time, I made a fool of myself: I downloaded the installer on another computer, and I didn't realize I moved the old one to my gaming PC instead of the updated version. Now I'm a bit ashamed! :P
So Ingsoc85 is right: the installer was not up to date.
I wonder this, though: what's the point of updating both the installer and the patch, especially if patches are *that* big?

I think my error may be useful for someone else, anyway: with the recent mess GOG did with the invisible update flags, it is more than easy to miss those "small" details.
If I didn't decide to re-download the whole game, I would have probably never discovered that the installer received an update, in the first place.

GOG, FIX-YOUR-WEBSITE!
I am quite sure that the users here would like to know what has been updated without having to search through several threads, both on the General Discussion and the subforums. If the system worked on the old site, I really cannot see why it cannot be done again... and most of all, why this is not one of your top priorities!

Yeah, it defiantly strange, especially if you consider that the patch reduce the game size (at least with the third game).
