The game is available in Italy, edited by FX Interactive, with Italian voice and text so I was wondering why this version is not present here on GOG.

FX Interactive most likely has an exclusive license to distribute the Italian version of Deponia. Steam apparently doesn't have it either. The same issue exists for some other games and not just for GOG.

Why don't you put it as a wish in the wishlist? Seeing how there was a wish for German language support for Deponia 3 I just made this one to have the Spanish voices and texts patched into the game http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/deponia_3_voices_and_texts_in_spanish . It's the exact same thing than with the Italian language versions: 1 and 2 have it but it's missing in 3. Go for it, make the wish, you have my vote. I wish my wish (lol) has yours too.

Italian publisher Adventure's Planet has successfully crowdfunded for Italian voice overs of Goodbye Deponia through Eppela.com.

Italian version of Goodbye Deponia will come to life! :-)

The Italian translation for Goodbye Deponia should be distributed on 25 September, so in six days. Funders have the choice to redeem the key on Steam or on a DRM-free store, but it's not clear if it will be redeemable on GOG.
In any case, I hope the translation will be available on GOG soon.

Yeah the Italian version came to the stores a few days ago. the question is: Will it be available on gog.com too, as an update of the english-only we already purchased?

I'm a funder of the italian translation and I asked on the Eppela project page. Daedalic confirms that the version on GOG will be updated.
Right now, Steam version still needs to be updated (only the funders can get the new translation with a beta key).
Just wait some more :)
