I just bought Deponia here on GOG, but when I launch the game on my Mac (running OS X 10.9.5) there are no voices whatsoever in the game. i checked the ini file and voice volume is at 100, but no matter what i do i cannot get the voices to work, no matter the chosen language. Strangely enough all other sounds do work... I see there were some people who had similar issues on Windows, but those posts were from 2015 and there were no replies with solutions, so I'm wondering if anybody (preferably on Mac) has experienced the same issue and found a solution?

Ok, managed to find the issue. For some reason the game doesn't seem to like my firewire audio interface. If I connect my headphones to the aforementioned all sounds except voices play, but when I connect them to the aux-out of the mac itself I can hear everything perfectly fine. Slightly annoying having to switch audio ports, but far from a deal-breaker. :)
