I bought Deponia yesterday and it runs very slow on my iMac (early 2009, Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06GHz, 8 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4850). The language selection screen is nearly impossible to use, as it takes several seconds per flag to change. Also the mouse pointer in the game is so sluggish and laggy that it is no fun to play this game.

Has anybody figured out how / where to get the any update for the Mac version?

Thanks!

I'm experiencing the same issue. I have a mid 2010 Macbook Pro with 2.4 GHz processor and 8 GB of ram. The main menu is smooth as well as the first cutscene with the lovely tune that follows the tutorial, but playing the game itself (pointing, clicking, characters walking and moving) is extremely slow (about 1 fps) to the point of it being almost unplayable. I have not yet tried many solutions.
I had the same issue when trying the PC Version via Bootcamp. The version from the installer was nearly unplayable but after applying the 3.2 patch everything is perfect now.

Unfortunately nobody can tell me how to update the Mac Version to 3.2. There is no Mac patch available to download. I tried to email the Daedalic Support but got no responce. :-(
