Changelog forUpdate 1.4.0 (19 December 2019):

Hey Astronauts!

Today we lift-off with the release of a breath-taking GeForce RTX update, plus a live stream where we'll be telling you how you can win an unforgettable trip to the Kennedy Space Center along with the chance to win your own RTX 2080 card!

Deliver Us The Moon utilises the full potential of the latest version of the Unreal Engine 4, alongside Microsoft DirectX Raytracing and NVIDIA DLSS technology, to deliver stunning real-time ray tracing and global illumination and one of the most graphically immersive worlds ever seen from an independent studio.

- The electricity puzzle in Pearson Space Station is now more forgiving.
- An extra feedback prompt has been added to the Tombaugh Quarry to clarify that the jump button can be held to increase jump height and distance. Similarly, WASD key prompts are now shown during the ASE repair puzzle in Copernicus Moonhub.
- The logo introduction during game start-up can now be skipped.
- The ‘Skip cinematic’ button is now hidden until a key is pressed.
- Quicktime Events’ button prompts now turn blue when pressed on time to provide extra feedback.
- The boundaries of a hologram area now only appear when a hologram is actively playing.
- Fixed various localization bugs. Most notably, altering the text language in the Settings menu now correctly changes the language of the control scheme and the few remaining instances that were previously unaffected by the setting.
- Fixed a rare bug in Tombaugh that caused an infinite loading screen or black screen when loading the game at a particular checkpoint.
- Fixed a rare bug that prevented the second unlockable audiolog from playing after the first credits.
- Fixed a bug that caused Copernicus Moonhub to become unselectable in the Level Select menu after selecting Copernicus Outpost first.
- Fixed a bug where the pushable cart would teleport on top of the astronaut when pushing the elevator button in Tombaugh.
- Fixed a bug that caused the astronaut to fall through the reactor tower elevator’s floor in Tombaugh.
- Fixed a bug that caused the lunar rover to sometimes respawn on the wrong side of the level when driving out of range.
- The astronaut is no longer unable to click on astrotool buttons when standing in some door openings.
- It’s no longer possible to walk out of Tombaugh’s reactor chamber and locking yourself out after inserting the Helium-3 canister.
- It’s no longer possible to (accidentally) freeze the pushable cart and block the way deeper into Tombaugh.
- It’s no longer possible to unload the Copernicus Moonhub level by flying ASE into the small conveyor belt tunnel between the vehicle bay and the lobby.
- It’s no longer possible to fly ASE through certain walls of Copernicus Outpost and Tombaugh.
- It’s no longer possible to teleport back into the cockpit chair while loading Pearson Space Station.
- Fixed several spots where the player could get stuck on the collision of a mesh.
- Various small fixes and improvements to level geometry.

Changelog for Update 1.4.1 (10 January 2019):

[Warning: the GOG Galaxy overlay is not yet compatible with DX12 and has thus been disabled to prevent crashes. GOG is working on fixing the issue. In order to play Deliver Us The Moon with RTX, enable DX12!]

Dear astronauts,

Patch 1.4.1 is now live! This minor update serves to remedy various RTX-related issues. The technology is still brand-new and in constant development, so we’ve worked closely together with the engineers at NVIDIA to help iron out the RTX issues that we’ve seen and that you’ve reported on our boards. If you’ve experienced any crashes and black screens before this update, let us know if it’s better now!

In addition, the patch includes a number of small fixes:

- The astronaut no longer gets unintentionally stuck in walk-only mode when nearing the malfunctioning door leading out of Tombaugh’s crew quarters.
- The first draggable cart inside Tombaugh, used to gain entry to the crew quarters, no longer despawns when the astronaut moves the cart slightly and then returns to a previous section of the level.
- The second draggable cart inside Tombaugh can now be moved closer to the elevator doors (inside the crew quarters’ maintenance area) before the elevator controls are disabled.
- Minor improvement to ray-traced shadows in particular areas.

My installation seems to still be doing this. Additionaly, I cant seem to enter the Maintenace room. I walk up to the entrance and it is as if I hit a wall. The ASE unit cannot enter as well.

Hey Bardwin,

I'm sorry to see you're still having this issue, but thank for letting us know! We're currently investigating the problem again.

Delivering Patch 1.4.3

Dear astronauts,

Patch 1.4.3 is now live! The patch addresses various issues particularly related to the ongoing development of RTX. Since a lot of our players ran into RTX and video card related issues, we wanted to release a hotfix to make sure the game works well with the latest Nvidia drivers.

We upgraded our game to the latest version of Unreal Engine 4 to provide better RTX support. Also, we made several performance improvements, for example:

- New temporal AA algorithm and resolution upscaling.
- More and/or better LODs for many objects.
- Allow more textures in VRAM.

For more details and instructions on RTX, please make sure to visit our thread in the discussions.

Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you on the moon!

Best wishes from the KeokeN Interactive and Wired Productions teams!
