I love this game, have played it to the end and always kept going back to get perfect scores on higher levels.

However when playing it and you come out of the first cave system, I got a choice to 2 paths, one to a town, the other to the left where there was an odd temple with hands, symbols, pipes, etc., all of which could be activated. At the time I was playing for fun and then I realised that there were hidden hints and messages for this temple. But when I go back to the original junction, the path to the temple has gone and I can no longer access it.

Is this a bug or deliberate? Does anyone know?

You need the Book of Secrets equipped.

How do I get the Book of Secrets?

Check your load screen when the game first starts, button middle bottom of screen.

I don´t see anything - only the Start and Quit buttons.

If you don't have a "Secrets?" box under that, then you already have the Book of Secrets. Check Azra's inventory. It's either that or you are playing some very old version and need to update it.
