Do you think we will get Mission Critical also by Legend around the same time, which portrays Michael Dorn?

I hope the "Death Gate" release will pave a path for other LE classics on GoG in the near future. I am personally interested in playing "Callahan's Crosstime Saloon" and "Shannara".

If anything Piko Interactive could have bought the library of Legend Entertainment as evidenced by their classic Wisdom Tree Wolfenstein 3d remake Super Noah's 3D ark or Super 3-D Noah's Ark

Oh really. I didn't know about that. I just wish that DG won't be the last game from Legend here on GoG.

Theres Star Control 3 aka Kassari Quadrant here on gog, and Unreal 2 Awakening as well but not sure of others, I assume the rights were held by Atari, but pick and choose here and there... so I imagine those that werent of value were picked up by Piko Interactive, like the Wheel of Time.. probbably got the entire graphic adventures and interactive fiction...

The trademark expired in 2002 yet theres no indication of renewal

I've heard a lot of good things about the "Wheel of time", but still haven't had the chance to play it. I didn't know that SC3 was developed by LE, but, to be honest, I have zero interest in playing this game. What I want to see here on GoG are Legend's adventure games from the 90s. "Companions of Xanth", "Shannara", "Callahan's Crosstime Saloon" etc. It would be nice to see some extra goodies like manuals or storybooks too.

Look up bob bates, at http://www.bobbates.com/ , he was the guy who ran Legend Entertainment, if anything he may have acquired the rights to those games, though he tried to get the Legend Entertainment trademark but to no avail, as well as infocom but of course to no avail.

Thanks for the link. Added "Thaumistry" to my Steam wishlist while browsing the site) I'm not by any means the expert
on copyright law but the thing that majority of Legend's adventure games are based off major novels, can be the reason why acquiring the rights for this games can be tricky.
Would definetly like to see more their old stuff around here. I really recommend buying Bob Bates Thaumistry. Picked it up recently and its excellent. Great writing and some nice ui updates compared to the text adventures of old.
