Is there a way, after you click to build a building and have to place it, to cancel your decision? Right clicking or escape doesn't seem to work and I can't find anything in the manual? Or am I locked into building that structure at this point (and not at the point of choosing the spot and spending resources, as is the standard in many games even of Deadlock's time)

nevermind i figured it out - if I click on any UI button or outside the grid the building mode gets cancelled. counterintuitive but works
