You can't. The devs have obviously abandoned the GOG-Version more or less. All you can do is to say "thank you" on Steam for this.

I bet you feel embarassed about the 400+ MB update today! They put every stable update on GOG, they leave the daily buggy updates on Steam. That's a GOOD thing for GOG users.

It's actually a very bad thing.
Motion Twin have unjustifiably opted to omit the non-stable release channels from the GOG release. This is in spite of GOG absolutely allowing multiple release channels. The "daily buggy updates" that you refer to are not for the default release channel on Steam, the default release channel on Steam is the same one we get.

They have also decided that it's a wonderful idea to completely ignore the GOG players' feedback, going so far as to require purchase on Steam to post on the feedback subforums on Steam that they so exclusively attend.

I've tried to get them to recognize us, but all they did was ignore the crux of my pleas and tell me that we'll get patch notes on the GOG forums for sure, which also seem to be wonderfully absent. This is almost too cruel.
I should try again some day.

They decided to omit GOG from the unstable releases to cut down on the amount of work they needed to do to ensure that the bug reports they get from those releases are for the same version.
