If you have a crash, please send us the crash log to contact[at]silentdreams[dot]de with a little explanation about what you did last during the crash.

You’ll find the crash log under this file path: C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\SilentDreams\DeadAge2\Crash Reports

If you cannot find the directory:
- Windows Key+R
- type %AppData%
- This should open the “Roaming” folder; just move back up one step and select the “LocalLow” folder
- From here you can go further according to the file path

There is another path where engine crashes are stored. Mind checking this path as well?
C:/Users/Username/AppData/Local/Temp/SilentDreams/DeadAge2/Crashes

I just sent an E-mail to that adress and got a mailer daemon reply. The following was my message:

Hello,

my game just crashed. I was entering the sector next to my base in the event where I could thin out the smuggler's army for the second time before they were trying to attack me. Just after I finished traveling to that location my entire PC just turned off and restarted. I looked into the directory where the folder crash reports is supposed to be, but it isn't there. I also can't find anything regarding to savefiles. I attached the other log files that are in the directory that should contain the crash info.

I have played for over 50 hours at this point and would be extremely disappointed if my savegame was irrecovarebly lost to this issue. Please get in touch with me about this.
