To the developers Madruga Works,
How does the game handle the establishment of more than one settlement site? In a single game from the initial settlement site that you start with, if you were to have your people build houses and other structures located somewhere else in the map to create a second or more settlement site(s) for purposes of being able to quickly hunt and gather in areas far from the initial settlement site.
How does the game handle the division of population (male/female) between the sites for child birth? And inter-migration for marriage purposes for child birth purposes between the different sites?
How would the game handle migrants, traders, and raiders when you had multiple sites?
When a trader comes would one come to each site or would the trader arrive at a different sites at different times?
Would more raids happen in correlation to the number of sites? Or would raids only happen at the initial site, aka you would know that the other sites would be raid free thus no need for defensive structures?

Traders and migration usually go to your first village.

It is possible to have multiple villages (in some maps it is the only way because there isn´t much flat terrain), but it will ONLY work if they are very close together: not more than a river worth of distance.
It also makes the game much harder, as you´ll need more towers and gates. It will take a lot of luck to reach a point where you´ll produce enough straw for unkeeping! It will also spread the population, which means controlling the domestic animal population will be near impossible.

Possible, but it makes the game quite hard and annoying
It would be nice if you could migrate from place to place in the early game prior to agriculture. There could be tech that allows you to build better buildings out of hide and leather that are easier to dissassemble and relocate (much like North American tipi the plains indigenous people used to use).
I'm new to DoM but already played a single game until iron age and steel. As it's sort of the end of the game, I tried to establish a new settlement some distance away. It happend, that the next raid moved straight to this new settlement. Of course there was no proper defence yet. So everything got destroyed and anyone there had been killed. Just after that, they moved straight to my main settlement, there the revenge was ours. ;-)

Anyway, may have been bad luck? But the raiders didn't come from this direction before, so I'm unsure if they move to less protected places first. If so, I don't have a clue how to start a defendable new settlement some distance away as it will always be burned down by raiders easily.

OK, played the game a few days now, currently I have 190 people in two different settlements, in Bronze Age.
It's insane to build two villages, because DISTANCE HAS NO MEANING to the little people. This is THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THE AI. They happily spend their days walking fron one place to another. Unhappily that is sometimes fatal, too. A resource far is as good for them as a resource near. When there is food to eat, water to drink, place to sleep or worship or a job to take nearby, they might just as well walk insane distances to do what they could have done very close.

Pressing the RETURN-key apparently takes you always to the settlement where you did something recently. For me, ot could be either of my two settlements. The trader always comes to the hearth I built first.

Bad luck. I have two settlements, the raiders visit, seems randomly, either settlement.
