Hi, I am an adult with a day job and sometimes I need to stop playing the game but when I go to turn the game off, it warns me that I'll lose my unsaved progress. It even tells me how much playtime I'm going to have to do over again if I quit.

I need to be able to save my progress when quitting so I don't have to keep repeating parts of the game whenever I stop playing before an autosave point.

There's no menu save, but the game autosaves whenever a new day begins and when you use the stove in your hideout. Using the stove is the closest you can get to saving at will.
