Well, as title says it, my game crashes at launching.
Juste crash.
Black full screen for 2 seconds, then back to windows with an alert window who says that the program stop abnormaly.
That's all. (launch as admin, any version compatibilities...)

I'm on windows 7 pro 64bits, with a 27" widescreen. All is up to date.

I tried the steam version : same thing.
Sadly, i can't demand refund from GoG, i bought this game for more than 30 days :(

With "-windowed" option, i can launch the game, but all the UI is ugly. See images attached.

And if i use "-windowed -32bits" it's ok.
Well, i dont want playing on a tiny window in the middle of my widesreen :(

Any solution ?

Ok, solved.

ONE 3D option to set, in the nVidia GC interface.
The most important : refresh rate : application controlled !!!

Why is there no answer to this question yet? I'm having similar issues.

Because everyone is playing this game with dgVoodoo2, no issues.
Compatibility options like "-windowed -32bits" not needed.
Then, if your need windowed mode, you can use DXWnd >v2.05 (in addition to dgVoodoo2) and set "Window size" as "locked" and enable "Force Window resize" in "Video" section.

Download latest version http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2.html
It can be detected as a virus/suspicious file, probably (because of the way it works). Do it on your own risk.
"Copy dgVoodooCpl.exe and dll's from MS to Darkstone. Run dgVoodooCpl.exe and goto DirectX tab.
Set resolution your want, press "Apply". Profit! Now videocard will be "emulated", for this game".
So, you can set resolution higher then 800x600 and compatibility options are not needed, I believe
