When using a controller after patching all controller prompts are absent from the menu. Please correct

For me, they are not absent, they just show as black rectangles. Everywhere. Menu, game prompt to open chests, icon telling me how to summon the horse... Not completely gamebreaking, but very annoying. At least the game being stuck in endless fight animation loop was fixed, or I didn't encountered it yet with this patch.

System: win7-64 + 8G memory, AMD Radeon R9 270X with 2G memory, latest drivers

Well glad to see I'm not the only seeing black rectangles instead of button prompts so I hope this gets fixed soon along with the performance issues of the game.

The patch completely erases button prompts during active play, as well as the arrow icons in menus, and cuts off full sentences from the hints that appear during loading screens.

Same problem here. I also have an AMD card, with the "crimson" drivers.

Given that I'm using a nVidia card and have the same issue, I doubt it's card or driver related.

I'm getting no controller promts too just black rectangles.Tested on 2 pcs 1 a nvidia the other a radeon card.

Probably no more fixes scheduled. They stopped responding here and on steam community hub all together.

That's depressing - so is the latest Steam version broken like ours on GOG? I logged a support ticket with GOG and I trust it gets passed on to the Devs. Suggest everyone here does the same. It's pretty disappointing.

Seems like it. Nordic has built a lot of goodwill with their releases, only to waste it on stupid issues like this. Maybe they had so few gog sales that it's not worth it to them to support? The problem with button textures shouldn't take 5 months to fix. I tried it about week ago when new AMD drivers came out - still broken.
