Every time I kill a low-level town thug, amidst the loot is a piece of L. Clothing, which has a value of 0 when I try to sell loot at the Market the next day. I've accumulated a couple hundred units of L. Clothing -- which NO ONE is buying.

1) Is there a point or location where the party Leader's Charisma/Speak Common/paty Local Reputation will be enough to prompt merchants to offer at least ONE pf for L. Clothing?

2) If there is NO point or place where L. Clothing can be sold for at least one pf each, why is it even an item in the loot pile? It can't be sold and it's armor value = 0. So in effect, the ONLY effect it has is to take up Inventory space.

They cannot be sold ever, but I still find them very useful. I put anything I don't want to keep after them in a character's inventory. That makes it easy to sell stuff without risking accidentally selling stuff I don't want to.

If you don't want to use them for that and they drive you nuts, then I suggest dropping them. I do not know any other use for them.

--edit--
As for why they exist at all, I always assumed there was some bug or other difficulty involved with unarmored human enemies and they used this to get around it. All they seem to be is a do-nothing armor for the weakest thugs you can encounter.

I am inclined to think that it was just _something_ to drape onto the character mannequin on the Character Sheet for those characters that still couldn't afford to buy Limb armor. Costs nothing, and provides no protection, but when equipped, at least you can see where the arms and legs go.

Still, the only other collectible item I've seen thus far that has zero value is the Boar's tusk -- but theoretically a tusk provides a tiny Luck bonus. (Whether or not it does, I couldn't say. But just to be on the safe side in case it _does_... )
