Good to have a new update with Fixes, especially with collected shards. I though I had to get more kills to get shards. I was wrong. I'm happy to see next updates and waiting for news about Darkest Dungeon 2.
Have a nice day all.

What about release latest patch (Build #25521 "coming_in_hot" from 27 May 2020) on GOG?

since the butcher circus was released, all patches have been dedicated to fix the dlc's problems, both the ones it has on itself and the ones that caused for the single player game (tons of stuttering, some latency, etc)
They just added a patch on Steam that fixes the problem for people using xbox controllers, it used to be that you'd get play station button prompts. You could fix that with a mod, but now it's official. Let's hope they add this here.
The "actual" build/version on GOG.com is 24839 :(

I cannont install an language translation, because it would need at least version 25688...

CappahUK: did it ever get the latest update?
The latest update only game with the multiplayer that is only available through Steam. It uses the steamworks multiplayer functionality so it will not be coming to gog.com

The game was updated recently and the Hamlet screen now includes an icon related to the Crimson Circus. Unfortunately, when one clicks the icon it just asks to be directed to the store to purchase the DLC. So I guess multiplayer is still unavailable.

I was wondering the same: i find it a bit jarring that the Butcher's Circus is now technically in the game but unavailable.

Another issue is that the offline installers seem to have not been updated. The Color of Madness installer gives a warning message that says the installer is incompatible with the other game files already installed. Any idea if/when the offline installers are gonna get updated?

I'l try and contact some of the GOG staff to see if I can get any info, but don't get your hopes up.

I just saw that, thanks for letting me know! Downloading right now!
Not sure how I feel about this update.

I'm glad we're finally getting an update that Steam users have probably had since forever.

On the other hand, I don't like that it added a very visually dissonant icon to the bottom left of the hamlet screen, which looks ugly and out-of-place, and which when clicked on also direct me to buy DLC (which really takes you out of the atmosphere and feel of the game), and finally, doesn't even work when you click on it (as the store page doesn't exist).

To top it off it adds a town event to 'visit the circus' that has supposedly arrived to regain 10 stress to funnel people to the new mode, but because of the above you can't actually do that, making it particularly obnoxious.

I wonder if this is in preparation for the Butcher's Circus actually launching for GOG as well?

Personally I wish there was a way to turn the icon/addition off so it wouldn't appear in-game at all, much like you can do for all the other DLC.
