The updates could even make it worse for Dark Reign in the future. Because I can remember Dark Reign ran well on the first release of Windows 10. Windows 10 has still a lot of old files that Dark Reign requires to run properly. If they get updated the worse it will become for Dark Reign or other old games you like.

Um, that video isn't very relevant to Dark Reign's problems and is actually not very good at all. I would recommend you forgot you saw it, more misinformation than useful information in it.

Wish Linus would do some research and make a tutorial video for getting past most compatibility issues rather than waste his time on a TechQuickie with so many weird or downright wrong statements.
