I just bought DR 2. But when i want to play singleplayer/ skirmish or even multiplayer the game wants to find the CD. I don;t get any further then the menu.

Is there a way around this, because I thought that when you bought a game on GoG that you didn;t need a CD to run it.

Can nayone help me?

There is no dr2.exe or Launcher.exe in my folder ? :S

The game worked fine the first time it auto started, but now i always want a CD, and i can´t start a single player game...

Installed the original DR + Expansion. I'm getting the no cd message & cannot play. (I lost the original installation disk I had & bought it from GoG to replace. Now it won't start either.) There is no Launcher.exe in the folder. There are 2 other DR exe's but they give the same message.

@Myvekk those two other Dr exes are the Launchers. Did you have a web browser open when you tried to play? For some reason my laptop wont launch DR (without the no cd message) unless I have no browsers open.

Got the Launcher, does nothing when double clicked......got into the game and when choosing the Campaign it gives the me the option to Quit or Cancel. I wish I would lie to it and wish it would bloody work.

Most anti-virus will destroy the launcher.exe file... even better programs like Webroot, AVG etc will do it

Add the file to trusted/allowed and your problem will be solved

Same here. Galaxy crashes when I try to install it (at 96%). I download the Install-file; it can´t be detected by Galaxy...

I had the same problem. Initially the game ran fine but several games later, I was asked for a cd. It seems that that question was always there but initially the game ignored it. I am running windows 10 which is protected by Windows Defender.

In Windows Defender,
-select settings, you will then see a window come up with Windows Defender selected under Update & Security
-select "Add an exclusion"
-select "Exclude a folder"
In my case, the excluded result was D:\GamesGog\Installed\GalaxyClient\Games\Dark Reign
