This series has always captivated me, especially Enemy Zero (owned it on the Sega Saturn), so I would love for you guys (Night Dive) to release that game on GOG as well, at some point!

I noticed that D2 was actually Dreamcast only? Is that correct? (I recall playing a demo on disk back in the day, but perhaps I'm mistaken.) So we'll probably never see that? Or was it made for Microsoft's OS on the Dreamcast and would that make a difference, port wise?

I imagine that would be a much larger undertaking but I have to ask.
It would be nice to have all the games in the series :D

It's nice To have that game "D" on GoG ,for Enemy Zero wikipedia shown that the game exists on PC:

I just saw a video and the game has the same atmosphere as "D" it would be really great to have a version of GoG. : D

It would be nice to have Enemy Zero and D2 that way we could play one of the greatest trilogies from a bygone era of inovative japanese creators (Yu Suzuki, Hideo Kojima, Kenji Eno...)

thedkm: Enemy Zero wikipedia shown that the game exists on PC:
Enemy Zero was indeed released on PC, in fact the PC version had additional content.

Here is the feature list as found on the back of the physical box of the PC version of Enemy Zero:
- 2 new PC enemies "Bodylesss" & "Armless" brings the enemy count to 5.
- New navigational tracking system for tighter access to enemy location.
- 3D sound support allows you to hear the aliens attacking from all sides.
- Video phones and a special motion tracking ear piece help locate the aliens.
- With Luscious Jackson lead singer Jill Cuniff as the voice of Laura Lewis.
- D3D support

Don't forget to vote for it in the GOG wish list if you haven't already:

Cool little piece of trivia. (Source: Wikipedia)

SpellSword: Enemy Zero began life on Sony's PlayStation. Irritated by Sony's failure to meet even a third of preorders for the PlayStation version of D, at a Sony conference Kenji Eno made a shocking move. Eno showed a preview of Enemy Zero. At the end of the clip the PlayStation logo appeared, but slowly transitioned into the Sega Saturn logo. Despite popular opinion that the Saturn cannot handle 3D games as well as the PlayStation, Eno commented "...the PlayStation and the Saturn aren't that different, so moving it [Enemy Zero] to Saturn wasn't too difficult."

Very nice to see D on GoG,

I have the PC release of if, but have not played it in ages.

With DOSBox it should go, or Win 98 se in VMWare.

(Win 98 se runs most(!!) MS-DOS software without any issue.)

And I also have the PC release of Enemy Zero.

I am sure for these who don't have but want it, a GoG release would be very nice.

D2 was Sega DreamCast only, so we will not see it on GoG, but I have a DC and D2 so no hassle for me.^^

I have the 4 CD XPLOSIV version of E0 for the PC (the disks are numbered 0 to 3), and the Jap version of D2 for the Dreamcast, but have never played D.

If you like the above two games it is worth getting D?

I played D2 on the Dreamcast back in the day and it is the only game of the series that i have played.Really love D2, consider it a genuine classic and have very fond memories of playing it.So i'll definitely have to check out D sometime and also hope Enemy Zero finds its way to GOG.
Hopefully Night Dive can port D2 from DC to PC following a release of Enemy Zero! Would love to play more of the games form Kenji Eno!
Did it come out in english though

Seems as though it did. The Wikipedia page they mention has release dates for both European and North American PC versions alongside the Japanese release.
The PC version is available in English (as well as German and a few other languages) and IIRC there were no major issues in running the game on modern operating systems. Also, the PC version has slightly improved graphics, which is another reason to give it a try even if you played the Saturn version.
