Hello - I am at a point where I am loosing my mind. Wanted to play Cyberpunk again, re-installed it two days ago. On start-up I get the error message "User settings data corrupted". Result is, that all option changes get reset everytime I restart the game, which is very annoying (sound, graphics, keybindings, etc.).

I looked online for a solution and the recommendations were pretty much all along the lines of:
- Clean Cyberpunk re-install
- Delete user.gls file
- Clean Gog re-install

I did all three, and nothing changed. At this point it feels like Cyberpunk creates a faulty user.gls file by default, but that doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. What is notable is that even though I have removed all existing saves AND disabled all cloud save features, two of my most recent saves show up after a re-install of the game, and I cannot remove them (since apparently, I cannot delete synced cloud saves ingame), but they do not show up in my local folder.
I do not know why the game has access to cloud saves, even though cloud syncing disabled.

It is not like I cannot play the game like this, but it is very annoying that this problem persists like this. If anyone has advice, or hopefully a solution for this, I would very much appreaciate it.

Were you able to find a solution for this @Keraph1993?
I just started running into the same problem myself.
If you use GOG Galaxy it store user data for games in one additional folder (like Steam) - in AppData.
http://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Cyberpunk_2077
GOG (offline) versions also sometimes use GOG Galaxy AppData folder.

somewhere inside should be game id folder and user id folder inside. For GOG version user id is 0, for GOG Galaxy version your id.

Validate game installation in Galaxy, better twice in a row (always redownload something and not tell which files).
Erase all 3 game folders entirely in SavedGames, AppData GOG and AppData CDPR. Make first game launch after validation as admin (so run Galaxy as admin before validation and keep it until you run game after, then you can relaunch Galaxy without it, game started directly from library will use same mode).

Ofc games and gaming clients shouldn't be on system drive. X/Games/ only.
I'm having the same problem but on GeForce now any idea how to fix it from there?
it says user settings are corrupted? Try deleting UserSettings.Json user.gls is not a settings file. Your saves reference the gls file to determine if you have unlocked any MyRewards items. It's totally irrelevant to settings. UserSettings.Json is not removed by uninstalling. you have to do it manually. It is located in :\Users\user\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077/ When you reinstall the game and there was an earlier version, there is conflict. I delete this file between versions always. The game regenerates it with the proper settings for current version once you enter the settings menu the first time. Otherwise, the game simply modifies the original Json which leads to conflicts and errors.
