PaladinNO: I just started on the game myself. Ironically, the game managed to properly detect my screen setup by default, and still failed to properly display the menus.

Playing with 3x 27" 1440p in Nvidia Surround (7680x1440), and while in the menus I got 2 basically black screens left and right, with a 2" bar still showing ingame graphics going across all three screens at the top and about 60/40 clear menu screen/fuzzy ingame video on the middle screen.

This is NOT what I would expect from a 2020, so grossly overhyped video game! Not when games like Crysis (2007), Portal 2 (2011), Dead Space (2012) and Alien: Isolation (2014) handles the same seup perfectly.
EXACT same situation here, only with 3x32" 1440p 144hz screens on my 2070 Super. For now I am making do with just my middle screen, but hopefully they fix this soon. It works fine in Witcher 3, so I am hopeful that it gets resolved here as well. Also wish 5760x1080 was an option to use with DLSS, seems to go straight from 4***x768 to 7680x1440 when choosing resolutions.

That being said, I am loving the experience that I am getting so far.

Indeed! Let's hope they see this and fix it in the upcoming update. i was holding my fingers for 1.4 but it seems it didnt happen. I wish there was some great and easy way to report bugs to CDPR directly. Wonder if they read GOG forums...
Bumping again!!
Bump
I bought the game, started playing but...i think i will wait for next patches to enjoy the game in it's full potential

They surely concentrated their efforts on the main story...sure all the rest will be sorted out in the upcoming patches

the main bug that is annoying me the most is the ultrawide bug
- menus with black bars (brokes the view of the inventory...things get behind the black bar)
- in game after dying (need to change to window borders save then change again to get back to ultrawide native)

world bugs:
npcs freezing
npcs already dead on arrival
police spawn....really?...hilarious

on main quest bug:
no way to undo the cyberupgrades when you are only selecting in the interface just to check them (before is installed by "installer")

AI for the moment is very dumb and poor
Hi,

guys I'm not sure if this is already mentioned, but photo mode also has issues with ultrawide, my cursor can't reach all the screen, looks like an invisible border fixed to 16:9 is blocking and not allowing me to select properly the menus on the right side, at least not all of them.

I thinks this is part of the issues of ultrawide menus that everyone is talking about.

Also other thing that is bothering me is the displayed area related to text, mentioned by @flowoeB. It worries me 'cause the same damn thing happened to me in TW3 and they never fixed it.

Please listen to us now CDP.

Edit: Resolution: 2560x1080, 21:9

TheRiceKing: I really hope CDProject Red fixes the Ultrawide menu issue. I haven't been able to play the game because of it. This is not the way to treat people who pre-ordered the game. I'll never pre-order another game in my life. This is the last time.
mfw when i first tried to use the in-game camera screenshot function, but my mouse wont go 'over the edge' of the programmed menu width.

ffs. its a big joke.
how was this missed by CDRED. I hope they get the UI fixed soon...

I think it is very clear that this was not exactly missed, the game was simply just not finished. Leadership forced them to release it before it was done. I am confident that the issues will be resolved with time.

I didn't mind the menus not being in UW, but then this hit me at the start. Can't play the game without learning how to hack.

Bump!
Photomode still buggy on ultrawide. Mouse can't reach the corner.
