I did a search for such a post here and it found no thread titles with "skip splash screens." How is this possible? I've also done Google searches, nothing.

There has to be a way that works for the GOG version, with Galaxy or not., right?
I've done 2 things, though I don't know which is actually working (I suspect one of them isn't):
1. Adding:
-skipStartScreen

...to the Target in the shortcut.

2. Using Cyber Engine Tweaks (CET) and check the disable intros option.

Thanks for the reply. I tried doing the first in GOG Galaxy with the shortcut that takes you to the REDmod enabled game, with no luck.

I've got CET installed--any idea how to check that box? CET is itself a mod, right? I guess I'll go see if the mod page on Nexus gives me a clue.

Have you tried using a direct shortcut to the offline game?
I don't use GoG Galaxy (I value my privacy too much to use any game client) and I haven't tried REDmod yet, though I use mods that require a whole host of various other mod frameworks.

You'll find the game .exe in
[X]\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64

In my case, my shortcut target looks like this
"D:\GoG\Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\Cyberpunk2077.exe" -skipStartScreen

If you already have CET installed, just press the button you assigned to the console and click on Settings from the console menu.

If the console window doesn't show up, you need to close the game and disable any screen overlays (Gamebar, RivaTuner etc.).

Additionally to PaladinNO's comment, maybe this screenshot of the CET window with the settings is helpful.

PS: Not what you asked, but same topic: When you finished the main quest and you are on side-quests or just exploring the map you will always see the same recap-news with Arif Iqbal. 100 times later it was a bit annoying for me. You can stop him with this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/1614

You're referring to the last loading screen?

If so, then that mod is not needed, at least not for me.
By the time the announcer has said "My name is Arif Iqbal, and you're watching WNS news", I'm done loading (takes 6 seconds from pressing the save I want to load and until I am ingame).

I use this one - fairly straightforward and may not remove everything you're after, but does the job for me. Doesn't require redscript or CET, just drop it into the mod folder.

PaladinNO, with max graphic-settings and many mods for me it's much longer than 6 seconds when i'm in the city. So this mod was very helpful for me, easy on the nerves =)
But it looks like you answered Papageno's question.

As it's been 2 days, I assume he has solved the issue by now. No news is good news and all that.

You're using any graphically improving mods? I didn't consider that, as that certainly would increase load times.
I'm playing with both RT and DLSS OFF on custom High settings, and CP77 looks f**king stunning as it is (RTX 3080).

Shame about the braindead AI pedestrians / vehicles in the game.

I got some QoL mods installed, plus some fun ones, but nothing that affects the default graphics.
- AI Netrunners Enhanced
- Cyber Vehicle Overhaul
- Daemon Netrunning
- Hide Distant 2D Cars (disables the useless distant car sprite models)
- Improved Traffic (puts more cars in busy places)
- Lamborghini Terzo Millennio (Caliburn skin)
- Vehicle Spawner
- Let There Be Flight
- Lifepath Bonuses and Gang-Corp Traits
- Remove Level requirements
- Remove Street Cred requirements
- Edgerunners Radio

...and a ton of mod frameworks to make it all work.

CP77 is NOT a game I would want to have installed on a regular spinning hard drive...
