midrand: I agree with both previous posters - the sex scenes could have just been edited out altogether and replaced with a dark screen of people moaning if they wanted to avoid the subject of nudity altogether. Why, or why do you need to censor this MATURE DARK WORLD so much harder than the fantasy world of the Witcher??? These scenes and the whole way sex is handled in this game is meaningless, tasteless and add nothing to the immersion. The green coloured scene is just plain sad.
Speaking of immersion; when I walk into a store around Christmas I expect the shop or shopping mall to make it a pleasant stay, and have done
something that makes me in the mood for Christmas and thus make me shop more.
That's basic psychology right there.
When I went to this cloud center looking for Evelyn, I expected to walk into something that people at least enjoyed and liked to go to this "exclusive hotel".
The joytoy you're paired with just talked you into sleep (and there's only two choices, a feminine or masculine girl, not a feminine man or a masculine man). Seriously, you're not there to sleep, and why not have fun while working undercover? Again, the dialogue choices are severely limited (or options in general).
Worst is, all the rooms where empty, with the exception of three - In one there was someone sleeping, in one there's a woman "womansplaining" to a customer (like that woman outside of Wokado are verbally demeaning to a man, when you're with Taka to get some plans. It's the EXACT scripted NPC behavior), and in one there was a joytoy standing and hitting a customer on loop.
(You can see this by scanning the room.)
Not one were enjoying themselves, not even up in the VIP area... It was more of a depressing club for the depressed, and all you wanted to enjoy was just out of reach...
Again (trying without direct spoiler here), later I saw this man seeing a bunch of advertisements for joy-toys on the screen. Everyone was represented, except older males. It's a biological fact that men are sexually active longer than females.
The more I play the more I see lack of effort to make the player really enjoy the game. In Fallout and other games the elements that makes it such a great immersion and atmosphere are already there, and I never missed it too much, until now.
CDPR wasn't afraid of nudity and sex in Witcher 3. Another company fearing nudity, but not explicit violence...
