People getting angry at other people on the internet over an objectively broken game and its deceitful launch is nothing surprising. I guess it's all part of the human condition. Normally, I would not say anything and blend into the silent majority.
This time is different because CDPR made malicious decisions that destroyed their reputation more than any forum system could measure. Innocence lost.
But, yeah, a bit upsetting that the dark, gritty game they sold us on, isn't the one they sold to us (well, not to me...yet). I will say it's not all that surprising in hindsight. Games like this cost an insane amount to create. They have to cater to the largest market segment possible. That means certain things need to be tamed down. So, why don't they just start from that position and not promise something they can't/won't be able to deliver? I guess it's because it's the fringe/hardcore element that wants the dark aspects and that drives the interest that brings in the more casual gamer. Nothing draws a crowd, like a crowd. But, that casual gamer is likely not going to be as open to the darker aspects, and that gets pulled. The result, no one is entirely happy. ...hurray... :(
